This was revealed by Mbabane Swallows Management Head of Legal Welile Mabuza yesterday during a press conference at Sigwaca House in Mbabane. The long-serving Mabuza revealed that they had secured a new partnership with aQuelle Viv for the 2023/24 season.“Today (yesterday), we are here to launch a hydration sponsorship through Mbabane Swallows and aQuelle from South Africa. Aquelle is a big company which has products all over the country and the company saw it fit to associate themselves with the club. This is a huge sponsorship and milestone for the club because we know that weather conditions change for the club. Hydration is very important, especially for soccer players. The sponsorship is for a season but in terms of the products, there are still water and energy sports drinks,” he said.

The Umkhonto KaShaka MC went on to reveal that the sponsorship would cover the players from training right up to the games. “For a start, the company will give us 2 600 bottles of water per month and 1 800 bottles of energy drink. The sponsorship is worth E35 000 a month and it will run for a season. The sponsorship started during the derby game where we saw the players winning the game with great performance on the day,” he added.

The club Chairperson Masotja Vilakati said they were hoping that the Mbabane Swallows fans would support this great partnership. “As a club it’s now our duty to make sure that the sponsors continues to grow in the country, so that all the clubs in the country can benefit from such sponsor.
