The ongoing FNB Eswatini Golf Challenge has brought a hive activity in the country, especially at Nkonyeni Golf Estate where it is held. The tournament, which started on Tuesday, and ends on Sunday, features professional and amateur golfs from the country and other countries. The tournament, which is sponsored to staggering E2 million courtesy of FNB Eswatini and the Sunshine Tour, is a significant contribution towards the development of the sport, locally and regionally.

As a person who has a huge interest in golf, I am impressed with this golf challenge and wish it continues for many more years to come. I read in your esteemed newspaper that there will be about 120 participants, of which 15 will be emaSwati and the others coming from South Africa while the rest will be from the United States of America, Great Britain, Portugal, Greece, Korea, Zimbabwe and Zambia. This is a huge turn up and shows that the tournament is internationally recognised and appreciated.
Over and above that, we are aware that the bank also contributes towards the development of junior golfers. I would like to congratulate those who have won prizes already since the week begun and wish those who will be participating in the challenge all the best.
