MBABANE - Not only patrons are raving, but a local DJ is also looking forward to see South African (SA)artist Mr JazziQ perform in the kingdom once again.
The Amapiano DJ and record producer tour titled ‘Dankie Mr JazziQue’ hits Eswatini tomorrow; it is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated shows that will be popping this weekend. The event will be held at The XChange Lounge and Shisanyama. The SA artist is set to hit the stage and will be accompanied by well known media houses being MTV Base and YFM. At the time of compiling this report, the line-up included artists namely; SA Busta 929, Zuma, PCEE and more. Local DJs who will be spinning the turntables are; AyaCity, WordSmith Felix, Genes of the Vibes, Matamza and Belinda Chester.
Dubbed
From being dubbed ‘the new kid on the block’ and now being listed in the line-up of one of Eswatini’s hottest shows with the big boys, Wordsmith Felix, who has surely been doing the work and making a name for himself in the music industry was contacted for a comment and he said: “I am honestly blessed and truly grateful to be part of this show as it is one of the biggest that will take place in the kingdom. “It will be an honour to share the stage with renowned artists.’’ Wordsmith, who just came from winning a slot at Unleash The Wolf show, which took place at the Albert Millin last Saturday, blessed the stage with fire tunes.
Patrons who were already excited to see him as they voted for him to be on Stage through UTW’s ‘Put me on’ challenge on social media, is now headed to perform with the ‘big guns’. When probed about what he will be dishing out during the show he shared: “I honestly want to push some of the records that I have in my archives, like I usually do on most of my sets. “I will play a palette of exclusives and some commercial numbers.”
