ALL COMPLAINANTS FELL PREGNANT

MBABANE – All the complainants, who are the accused’s daughters, helper and cousin, reportedly fell pregnant during the alleged sexual abuse by the lawyer.

This is reflected in the indictment that has been presented to the court by the Crown. *Musa is alleged to have raped and impregnated three of his daughters. Others who recorded statements with the police, include the lawyer’s niece and helper, who he also allegedly impregnated. The lawyer is facing five counts; three of rape and two under the Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence (SODV) Act 15/2018. The offences, according to the charge sheet, are accompanied by aggravating factors as the complainants are his biological daughters. The Crown will parade nine witnesses to prove its case.  The lawyer’s daughters are expected to narrate to the court how their father allegedly assaulted them sexually. They are also expected to tell the court about their pregnancies and what happened after they fell pregnant.

This publication reported previously that the lawyer allegedly took some of the children to the Republic of South Africa (SA) for abortion procedures once they fell pregnant. It was also reported that one of the children fell pregnant about four times. One of the attorney’s daughters, his niece and the helper, allegedly gave birth to his children after failed abortion attempts allegedly at his instance. The minors were allegedly sexually abused by the lawyer for years, beginning from when some of them were as young as 12 years old. One of the abused children now works for one of the security services and another is a studying in SA.

An investigation by this publication established that members of the community where the attorney resides, who were aware of the alleged sexual abuse experienced by the children at the hands of their father, were enraged that nothing was seemingly being done to the lawyer. This was prior to his arrest. The community members were said to be contemplating taking the law into their own hands, due to the snail’s pace at which the matter was being addressed. *Not his real name to protect the complainants
