Liberia Short People Association Unhappy With Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor

The founding Chairman of the Liberia Short People Association, Paul S. Kollie has voiced out his organization’s disappointment in the leadership of the Liberia first female Vice President, Jewel Howard-Taylor, noting that she has abandoned them since she was elected as Vice President of the Republic of Liberia despite their vigorous efforts in supplementing their gains.

Kollie speaking to journalists last week echoed that, “We the short people during her campaign for the position of Senator we robustly campaigned for her despite of insults from people that were are very short to be noticed; our efforts made her to win the Vice Presidency, but since her elections she has no time for the Short People, we are indeed disappointed,” in his rather emotional mood told reporters.

Speaking at the group’s headquarters in central Liberia, Gbarnga City, Bong County, Kollie emphasized that their love for the Vice President has been overlooked by her, paying less attention to their plight, noting that relationship between the Vice President and the Short People of Liberia has turned what he called, “Bitter”.

He further narrated that when she needed the position of  Senator, both relationships were perfect because she needed our support, but now her ascendancy as Vice President of Liberia, “Our relationship with her is very useless, she has no time to listen to our plight anymore”, Kollie in a rather frustrated tune told reporters.
