In India: Liberian Woman Whose Indian Husband Jailed For 10 Years Pleads

New Delhi: A Liberian woman, a mother of two whose Indian husband is currently behind bars to serve a numbers of years in prison for allegedly committing crime against the state is pleading to the international community to come to her rescue for her repatriation to her home country.

The woman only identified as Josephine speaking to the GNN via mobile phone from New Delhi, the Capital City of India in a disappointing tune,  said her two kids with ages 8 and 5 are currently out of school, due to the humiliation being received from authority of their previous school for the crime being committed by their father.

Josephine speaking further used the interview with the GNN to appeal to the United Nations, the government of Liberia to come to her aide, as there is no way out for her to survive, noting that since her Indian husband was arrested nearly three years ago, things are terribly rough on her; she’s barely get a meal daily for she and her kids.

However, sources in the Indian capital which hinted GNN revealed that Josephine and her kids are currently living by the mercy of God; by begging daily for survival, “Josephine’s situation is unbearable, there is an urgent need that people come to her immediate aide”, one of the sources who spoke to the GNN via mobile phone noted.

In a related development, news from that Asian county has revealed that several Liberians are currently behind bars for of illegal reasons including drugs abused and other heinous crimes.
