A GNN-Liberia research revealed the genesis and how the whole operation started. On March 6, 2020, CONEX Oil and Gas Holdings Limited signed an agreement with TotalEnergies for the acquisition of Total Liberia and Total Sierra Leone. This deal led to CONEX takeover of all assets of TotalEnergies in both countries, something which many consider a huge pride for Liberia.
CONEX is a multi-national company that provides capital resources, support and highly skilled and talented management teams in the investees’ companies. It is the holding company for a group of companies operating primarily in West Africa and headquartered in Liberia with representative offices located in Sierra Leone, Guinea, Ghana, Nigeria and the UAE.
CONEX has become a powerful force in the oil and gas sector. This acquisition of the two entities is in line with the company’s expansion strategy of the group.

Activities and Societies: As Founder Chairman/CEO of Conex Petroleum Group Inc. Mr. Abdallah entered in to a strategic partnership with the Liberia Petroleum Refining Corporation/LPRC to establish the first independently owned and operated Oil Terminal in Liberia which will provide additional storage facilities for Refined Petroleum Products. The Oil Terminal is under construction and is designed to provide back loading capabilities to engage in the Transshipment and Bunkering Services.
During my studies at the American University, I was elected and served as Vice President of the African Student Association 1984-1985 and received a Certificate for Outstanding Performance by the American University.
