Traffic Department Issues Warning: Illegal Placement of Windshield Stickers to Attract Penalties

Motorists are being cautioned against placing stickers on the front of their windshields as it can obstruct their visibility, which is considered a traffic offense.

Previously, personalized or customized stickers were allowed at the top of windshields, but the issue has worsened with oversized stickers now appearing at the bottom.

Corporal Brendon Sutherland of the Traffic Department emphasized that the Vehicle and Road Traffic Act prohibits any form of stickers or advertisements on windshields and side glass.

Violators may face impoundment of their vehicles and inspection by the transport board.

Government vehicle drivers are also reminded to comply with the ongoing audit at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
