The Pogues bassist Darryl Hunt has passed away. he was 72 years old.
The punk rock group announced the devastating news on Twitter on Tuesday, posting a black-and-white photo of the deceased band and his mate.
"We are saddened beyond words. Our Darryl passed away yesterday afternoon in London," he tweeted.
The cause of death has not been determined.
Announced "Daryl Gatwick Hunt April 5, 1950 – August 8, 2022" and added lyrics to their song "Love You 'Till The End". I will pick myself up and love you to the end.”
Hunt was born in Hampshire, England in 1950 and in 1986 he joined The Pogues.
Before he played in groups, he rocked his band Plummet, where he loved The Airlines.
Pogues has included frontmen for decades There was a string of members Shane McGowan, Gem Feiner, James Fernley, Andrew Ranken, Terry Woods, Spider-Stacey and Hunt.
Stacey , 63, tweeted in reply to the news about Hunt, writing: See you soon, Daz. "It's in the fridge" #TrickyTrees.
Hunt first appeared on Pogue's 1988 album, If I Should Fall from Grace with God, and also wrote the song "Love You Till The End."
This musician was featured on the group's 1996 album "Pogue Mahone," last featured in
