Princess Diana predicted that she would die in a car crash two years before her fatal accident.
The chilling revelation that has come to be known as the "Mishcon Note" is discussed in detail in the upcoming Discovery + documentary Diana's Investigation,The Daily Beast Previews.
In October 1995, Diana requested a closed-door meeting with her personal legal adviser, Victor Mishcon, and said, "What is on her mind? asked him to tell him about
Mishcon meticulously transcribed their conversation. Diana apparently predicted that she would "die or be seriously injured". died after crashing a Mercedes into a pillar at 65 mph in the Alma bridge tunnel in Paris. Paul was under the influence of alcohol and prescription drugs, but was trying to fend off relentless paparazzi who were chasing them on motorcycles.
Mishcon met Diana with then-Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Paul Condon, according to documentary experts.
Condon was made aware of the note's existence after John Stevens, Condon's successor, assumed the post.
The letter was immediately turned over to the royal coroner. At the time it was Michael Burgess, then Judge Scott Baker," Lord Stevens told the Daily Beast. We met some time ago, around the spring of 2005. He was confronted with the fact that he thought [Diana] was paranoid [note]."
There was a second letter allegedly written by Diana in October 1996. Two months after her divorce from Prince Charles, it reflected a similar hunch. Princess Diana's butler, Paul Burrell, announced this in her 2003 book, "A Royal Duty."
