An off-duty NYPD cop was busted after allegedly getting into a fight in Greenwich Village and then resisting arrest, police said.
Carlos Pereyra, 26, was arrested Saturday after he allegedly got into a scrape with another man on University Place around 12:40 a.m., according to an NYPD spokesman.
When cops responded to the scene, Pereyra resisted arrest, the NYPD said.
The other man in the fight was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, police said.
Pereyra was charged with assault, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration, the NYPD said.
