'S—Put Your Pants On': LIV Golf Texts Between Greg Norman And Sergio Garcia Revealed

Text messages exchanged between Greg Norman and Sergio Garcia in preparation for LIV Golf have been revealed.

The golfer who joined Norman on his Saudi-backed LIV Tour faced an indefinite ban from the PGA Tour, anda group led by Phil Mickelson accused them of violating antitrust laws.. I have no authority to impose that punishment. As part of that lawsuit, Golfer presented a text message between Norman and Garcia, who was on the Rebel Tour in June.

The text message indicates that Garcia had defected to his LIV. He revealed that he once informed the PGA Tour of its plans to enforce the golfer's ban.

After sending a brief greeting on February 11, Garcia got down to business and texted Norman his message. I was excited last week, but now I'm wearing pants.

Norman replied. All is well. I never heard him noise white in their pants. Who are you referring to so we can perform the check?"

Garcia replied that it was "some of the young guys," and he said, "The [PGA] Tour reached out to them and scared them a little. I think so."

Norman affirmed that the PGA Tour has no legal status to issue a ban.

"I'll contact you if I have a name," he texted his message. "Regarding the tour, if they were going to ban a player, they would have already. If you can, or if the player threatens to get it [in writing], great.Thanks."

Six days after his first exchange, Garcia told Norman: I don't know how you can get enough good players to join the league under [these] circumstances. What do you think? "

Norman again asserted to Garcia that this was legally impossible.

''They can't ban you for even one day, let alone life. can't take away," Norman texted his message. “It is a shallow threat.

Garcia explained his understanding of what had happened.

"The Commissioner will have a meeting with five or six of the biggest golf manager agencies, including myself, to first dismiss him if any of their players sign with the [LIV] league. Then they said what the [PGA Tour] was going to do in the future and that anyone who signed with the [LIV] would be permanently [banned] from the [PGA Tour]. I would love to get it in writing, but I doubt they will do it," he wrote.eventually joined LIV Golf after an epic meltdown.
