Actor Roger E. Mosley died Sunday from injuries sustained in a car accident last week, his daughter said.He was 83 years old.
Mosley, who played his helicopter pilot Theodore “TC” Calvin on the hit series, died surrounded by his family. He was paralyzed from the shoulders down and was in critical condition since the crash, his daughter, Cha Mosley, wrote on her Facebook.
"We could not mourn a more wonderful man. He hates crying in his name. It's time to celebrate the legacy he left us all," he said.
Fellow actor Richard Brooks paid tribute to Mosley on Sunday.
"Today we lost yet another great actor & legend," Brooks wrote on Twitter.
"Working with Roger was a lot of fun. When I produced my first play, he really came through for me. He was awesome. My condolences to the Mosley family."
Mosley appeared on the show alongside Tom Selleck for eight seasons from 1980 to 1988.
