Oh snap (snap)! Tim Burton's long-awaited official teaser for her Netflix series Wednesday has finally arrived.

The trailer opens with Wednesday Her Addams, played by rising star Jenna Ortega. She goes through a seemingly normal high school. In the narration, one kind of teacher can be heard saying: Adams, you said you had a very interesting educational journey. "Eight schools in five years," before flashing Wednesday as he stepped into boys' swimming practice and released two bags of piranhas at the swimmers. Gomez, played by her parents, and Morticia, played by Catherine Zeta-Jones, send their daughter to Nevermore Academy, the school where she met.

In a series of supernatural and very Burton-esque clips, Wednesday said, "Little did you know you'd be stepping into a nightmare filled with mystery, mayhem and murder." Added more.

According to Netflix,the show follows her days at Nevermore Academy on Wednesday, where she said, "I'm going to love this place." She masters the supernatural powers that appear in The Nevermore and tries to solve the problem by stopping the monstrous carnage terrorizing her local town: A supernatural mystery involving her parents 25 years ago — her in Nevermore.

The eight-episode coming-of-age comedy includes the original Wednesday in 1991's The Addams Family. Also starring Gwendolyn Christie and Christina Ricci, who played Adams,
