Michael Bublé's New Music, Tour and Family

Four-time Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Michael Bublé, who has since racked up 11 studio albums, says he's finally "found the recipe" when it comes to making albums. The Canadian entertainer is on tour with his latest record, 'Higher', which he calls the best album of his life.

"I think I'm in a creative space," Bublé said Wednesday on "CBS Morning."

Producers Greg Wells and Bob Rock, as well as legendary singer-songwriter Paul McCartney, were involved in the production of the 13-track project. was involved in

"I was really excited," Bublé said of one of his phone conversations with McCartney. “The last time I asked him to produce, I went really quiet. He said yes. } But for the album's title track, "Higher," Bublé credits his children with helping him write the song. He recalled helping his eight-year-old son Noah inspire Hook.

"The kids came up with it," he said. "I was giving the kids shampoo and conditioner in the shower and he said, 'Papi, I wrote a song.'"

In 2016, Noah who were diagnosed with liver cancer subsequently went into remission. In a recent video Bublé posted on his social media, Noah is seen playing the piano.

"His wife has a cell phone in her hand and is growling," he told "CBS Morning." 

"You never stop experiencing it," Bublé said of his son. "It's something I think about every day and when I see other people."

On Thursday, Bublé is scheduled to face Madison Square Garden. On Friday, he and his wife are expecting his fourth child.
