And of course, like all other grand claims, this one is dead wrong. In fact, the opposite is true because we are the true defenders of democracy and they are the enemies of democracy. The populist movement has been marching since the rise of the Tea Party in 2009. We have never had the support of media, big business, Hollywood or Silicon Valley.
