James Dolan doesn't plan to sell Knicks anytime soon

MSG has shrugged off reports that owner James Dolan could sell the Knicks and Rangers next year.

"We have no plans to sell either team," Natalie Ravitz, senior vice president of communications and marketing at MSG, told The Post in an email.

CNBC reports that Doran is close to finally leaving both teams, thanks to his longtime MSG analyst Jonathan Boyer, who said the MSG Sphere is complete. The Knicks have given hope to his fans who have suffered.

Boyar has worked with Silver Lake (a private equity firm that owns about 9%) and Egyptian billionaire Nassef Sawiris (he has about 5%).

But Ravitz knocked the idea down, first to his SB Nation, then he to The Post. This hits a lot of Knicks fans, who over the last few years have clearly become unpopular with Dolan.
