Washington — Recent COVID-19 Quarantine End, President Biden left the White House on Sunday for the first time since contracting the coronavirus last month, heading for a reunion with First Lady Jill Biden in his home state of Delaware.

The president tested negative on Saturday, paving the way out of a quarantine that has lasted longer than expected due to a virus flare-up. Mr Biden said he would be "out of caution" and would continue the "strict quarantine" until the second test was negative. The White House on Sunday did not disclose whether the president had a second negative test and has not provided a new report from O'Connor since noon Saturday.

The Biden family will spend his day at popular vacation destination Rehoboth Beach.

Biden tested positive on July 21 and began taking antiviral drugs Paxrovid. remained normal during infection, but symptoms included runny nose, cough, sore throat and body aches.

After quarantining for several days, the president will deliver speeches at his garden on July 26 and he will give Americans a booster shot of the virus on July 27. He said he could "live without fear," and the test was negative. He tests for the virus if he gets sick and looks for a cure.

However, Mr. Biden said on July 30 he discovered a rare rebound case of COVID-19 and was forced to quarantine again. He occasionally gave speeches from the White House balcony, such as when he marked the killing of al-Qaeda leaders and reports of powerful jobs.

He continued to test positive until Saturday when he received his first negative result. The first lady remained in Delaware while the president was quarantined in the White House mansion.

The Bidens are scheduled to travel to Kentucky on Monday to check on flood damage and meet with family.
