Third victim of Washington DC lightning strike identified as Los Angeles bank executive

A 29-year-old Los Angeles bank executive said three people died last week when lightning strucka park across from the White House. was one of them, said his employer.

Brooks Lambertson, vice president of City National Bank, said Thursday night he was at work in Washington, D.C., when lightning struck his Lafayette Park, the bank said. said in a statement on Saturday.

A Wisconsin couple celebrating their 56th wedding anniversary was also struck dead by lightning.

Lambertson manages bank sponsorships and previously worked in marketing for the Los Angeles Clippers, according to a City National statement. He lived in downtown LA.

"Brooks was a wonderful young man remembered for his generosity, kindness and unwavering positivity," the statement said. "His sudden death is devastating to all who knew him, and his family, friends and colleagues are grateful for the thoughts and prayers that have come from across the country."[96] }

He graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where he majored in recreation, parks and tourism management and focused on sports management, Banks said.  Lambertson lived in L.A., where he worked with the Clippers for CBS Sacramento reported . Farbod Esnaashari, who said he interned with Song, posted on Twitter that his friend was "an amazing person who left too soon."

James Mueller, Age 76, Donna A 75-year-old man from Janesville, Wisconsin, has died from injuries sustained in a lightning strike in a park just outside the White House complex, according to Mueller, London Metropolitan Police.

A fourth victim, an unidentified woman, was hospitalized in critical condition, police said Friday.

According to Janesville's niece, Michelle McNett, the Mueller family had traveled to Washington, D.C. to celebrate her wedding anniversary.

"They were such a loving couple," her McNett told the Wisconsin State Journal. "They were very family oriented. I think everyone is in shock right now and demanding privacy."

The couple has five children, ten. grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, she told the newspaper.

Secret Service and U.S. Park Police officers witnessed a lightning strike Thursday night and rushed to administer first aid, officials said.
