Woman, 28, charged after sneaking into high school to try and get kids to follow her on Instagram

Audrey Nicole Francisquini, 28, is accused of conducting the elaborate ruse at American Senior High School in Hialeah on Monday

A Florida woman has been arrested for posing as a student and sneaking into a high school prom to hand out flyers promoting her Instagram account.

Audrey Nicole Francisquini, 28, has been slapped with multiple charges over the incident which occurred at American Senior High School in Hialeah on Monday.

The aspiring influencer allegedly wore a backpack and carried a skateboard in order to appear a decade younger than her actual age.

Security officers say Francisquini initially asked to go to the registration office before she began wandering the halls of the school.

Francisquini reportedly stopped multiple students to give them printed pamphlets with her Instagram name on it and asked them to follow her.

The wannabe social media star also filmed herself inside the school and shared the footage on her Instagram Stories.

Francisquini was confronted by security and was told to leave the campus, but she allegedly refused to do so.

School administrators were subsequently advised of a 'potential threat on campus', prompting Francisquini to leave the school via the faculty parking lot.

Police used her Instagram account to track her down before she was arrested at her home.

On Tuesday, she looked far from being a glamorous influencer as she made her first court appearance clad in an orange jumpsuit and face mask.

She has been charged with burglary, trespassing, and resisting arrest.

Francisquini's elaborate plot to procure more Instagram followers looks to have failed. She has just 388 followers on her Instagram page, which consists mainly of photos of street art and a young boy who appears to be her son

However, it seems Francisquini is capitalizing on her newfound notoriety, appearing to have created a second account featuring her new police mugshot.

'Goal 30K [followers].  Content coming stay tuned,' the account's bio reads.

Monday's arrest isn't the Francisquini's first brush with the law.

She previously worked as a police officer in Georgia, where she was charged in 2017 after allegedly hacking into another female cop's phone.

She then maliciously posted the woman's private nude photos to her Instagram and Snapchat accounts.
