Speaking to the The Sun, Ulrika explained that while her career was on a high in October 1995, the same couldn't be said for her personal life as she had been outed for cheating on John, who she had married in 1990.

Explaining the need to get the symbol inked onto her body, she said: 'I felt nothing but guilt and remorse for my actions but as they were self-inflicted I couldn’t find an ounce of self-pity. It seemed like the perfect time to get my first tattoo.'

After initially going to the tattoo parlour to get a pig design, with the only option being Piglet from Winnie The Pooh, she ended up opting for the devil, which she says symbolised how she felt about her actions.

The star went on to discuss her other markings on her body including the word 'pappa' on her collarbone, which is a tribute to her father Bo who died aged 53.

She also has three crowns on her leg, which is the Swedish National Emblem, and is both a tribute to her father and her heritage.

Ulrika also spoke of the word 'Jen2' in a red heart, which is the nickname of her third husband Brian Monet and her children's initials 'BCM' on her wrist. She later added an 'M' above to represent her youngest child Malcolm.

The mum-of-four also teased a Morse Code tattoo with the meaning strictly between her and best pal Laura, and a very cheeky inking down below which is only for the eyes of 'the privileged'.

'Pappa': In March Ulrika unveiled her collarbone tattoo, paying tribute to her late father - who died of a brain haemorrhage aged 53 - with her'pappa' inking

Discussing her desire to keep adding permanent designs to her body, Ulrika explained: 'It’s an instinct, an intuition. It’s about feeling the desire to mark your body with something which not only lets others know who you are and what you are about, it’s a small 'celebration'.'
