Bloody brew brawl: William Beeson, 22 (left), and Justin Crowl, 29 (right), have been arrested in Ohio after they allegedly crashed a couple's wedding reception, tried to steal a case of beer and punched the groom, before the guests battered them

The melee broke out during a wedding reception that was being held at Richland County Fairgrounds in Mansfield, Ohio, on June 19

The newlywed husband, who has not been named, confronted the unwelcome guests, and was allegedly punched by Beeson, reported Fox8.

When wedding guests observed what was happening, they quickly jumped into action and turned the tables on the suspected beer bandits.

Crowl (pictured) and Beeson told cops they were invited to the party and then attacked for no reason

Crowl suffered lacerations after being slashes with broken beer bottles, while Beeson got a black eye and sustained other injuries.

When interviewed by deputies, Beeson and Crowl claimed they were attending the draft horse and pony show at the fairgrounds when a wedding guest in a purple dress invited them to the reception, according to WSYX.

The pair argued that they were then attacked without any provocation.

Beeson and Crowl were booked into the county jail on charges of theft, trespassing, and disorderly conduct.
