The VIP dining spots with tables you can book TONIGHT

Famously exclusive, many diners might think a table at The Ivy is impossible to come by.

But the reality is that, in the wake of lockdown restrictions easing, there are bookings to be had at the celebrity hotspot - with reservations available as early as tonight.

The West End eatery is just one of the high-end London restaurants that has availability in the coming weeks as the hospitality industry slowly comes back to life after months of closures due to the government's coronavirus measures.

FEMAIL has searched for reservations at VIP dining spots over the next few weeks and shared some of the star finds - including availability for The Ritz's hugely popular afternoon tea this Saturday.

Duck & Waffle, which offers 24-hour dining with stunning views of London, also has dinner reservations available over the next few days - although you'll have to act quickly.

It comes after celebrity chefs Paul Ainsworth and Tom Kerridge bemoaned the number of no-shows at their respective restaurants, saying it is 'selfish' and 'disgraceful'. Many restaurants have made pre-booking a requirement to make it easier to control the number of diners and maintain social distancing.

The measures mean that, in addition to the existing availability, foodies desperate for a reservation at a hard-to-book restaurants might also have better luck than usual if they phone on the day in the hope of replacing a last-minute cancellation.

Here, we list some of the most lusted after restaurants in London and find out just how easy it is to get a table at them.
