Sylvester Stallone's movie memorabilia is being auctioned including his Rocky III boxing gloves

Sylvester Stallone's iconic movie memorabilia is going up for auction on December 5 at Julian's Auctions. 

On Thursday, the California-based auction house announced that over 500 items from the 75-year-old movie star's personal collection would be going under the hammer.

Items for sale at the The Property from The Life and Career of Sylvester Stallone live auction will include movie props, costumes, original scripts and other memorabilia.

According to a press release, the auction will feature items from some of Stallone's most well-known films including the Rocky and Rambo movie franchises, Cliffhanger, Demolition Man, The Specialist, Judge Dredd, Assassins, Escape Plan, Cop Land and The Expendables. 

Additional offerings include 'awards, fine jewelry, furniture, cigar accoutrement, and other gentlemen’s luxury items.'

'Sylvester Stallone is one of the great icons and immense talents of the 20th and 21st century who is the epitome of a multi-hyphenated Hollywood superstar,' said Julien's Auctions CEO Darren Julien.

'Julien's Auctions is proud to present this epic auction that comes entirely from the personal collection of this magnanimous man, the myth, the legend, Sylvester Stallone.' 

Collectible: Among the most notable items are the boxing gloves that Sly wore when he portrayed boxing champion Rocky Balboa in Rocky III. Pictured in 1982

Hot item: The red and white Tuf-Wear gloves are expected to fetch between $10,000-$20,000

Taking a swing: Stallone's training gloves from Rocky Balboa and other boxing gloves from the Creed Installments are also on sale

Among the most notable items are the boxing gloves that Sly wore when he portrayed boxing champion Rocky Balboa in Rocky III. The red and white Tuf-Wear gloves are expected to fetch between $10,000-$20,000. 

Stallone's training gloves from Rocky Balboa and other boxing gloves from the Creed Installments are also on sale.

Rambo fans will have the chance to purchase a collection of knives, prop guns, machetes and a John Rambo arrow quiver from the famous franchise.

Armed: Another stun gun for sale is a the prop used by Stallone as Robert Rath in Assassins

Cool: The auction will feature a bow signed by the actor

Exciting: Another offering is the compound bow used by Rambo

Action: Rambo uses a vintage compound bow in every film after First Blood. Seen in 1985

Weapons: Rambo also used prop machetes and knives. Pictured in 1985

Screen-used: A number of prop weapons from Rambo will be up for auction. Seen in 1987

Memento: A number of machetes and knives used in the franchise will be for sale

Adaptation: Rambo was adapted from the 1972 novel First Blood

Expert: Rambo is experienced with many different weapons and hand-to-hand combat

Souvenir: One of the items for sale is the  John Rambo machete from Rambo: Last Blood

Another highlight is the headband that Sly wore in Rambo: First Blood Part II which is priced at $8,000-$10,000. 

Among other Rambo items are a Luminor Panerai watch, a cross necklace, combat boots, a duffel bag, a signed sweatshirt display and 'the original pre-production working script, with numerous handwritten notes and corrections, for Stallone's favorite installment of the film series, 2008’s Rambo.'

The costumes on the auction block include Sylvester's sheriff uniform when he played Freddy Heflin in Cop Land and the Judge Dredd costume, helmet and face mask that was designed by Gianni Versace.

In addition to starring in the Rocky franchise, Stallone also wrote six of the films' screenplays. Fans will also be able to buy his original handwritten notebooks filled with story ideas  for the first four films.  

Awards memorabilia includes the announcement card listing Rocky as the Best Picture winner at the 34th Annual Golden Globe Awards in 1977.

Born in New York City, Stallone struggled as an actor for years before skyrocketing to fame with his breakthrough role in Rocky.

Over the course of his five decade-long career, Sylvester cemented his status as an action star after appearing in a slew of box-office hits.   

Though his popularity declined in the early 2000s, he mounted a comeback when he wrote, directed and starred in 2006's Rocky Balboa and 2008's Rambo. Stallone won his first Golden Globe Award when he reprised Rocky in 2015's Creed.
