Sydney road rage driver in Mr Filter company car launches into a homophobic rant in Blacktown

A man driving a company car launched into a homophobic rant at an innocent motorist after wrongly believing he was cut off at a roundabout.

Dramatic dash cam footage captured the moment a man driving a 'Mr Filter' Ford Mondeo almost collided with a red ute after failing to give way at a roundabout.

The dash cam driver - in a red ute - was travelling along the busy intersection in Blacktown in Sydney's west just after midday on New Year's Eve last year.

The Mr Filter driver wrongly believed he was cut off and crossed double lines to block the innocent driver before stopping in the middle of the road to to call him a 'f****t' and 'f***ing p*****r'.

Mr Filter fired the employee over the incident after footage from the red ute's perspective was posted to the Dash Cam Owners Australia Facebook page on Saturday.

The Mr Filter driver was in the wrong since he must give way to vehicles already in the roundabout and vehicles to the right - as outlined by NSW RMS.

But the incensed Mr Filter driver instead tailed the dash cam motorist and crossed double lines to overtake it before slamming on his brakes in the middle of the road.

The Mr Filter driver then got out of his car and walked up to the red ute to launch an obscene rant at the innocent driver.

'You f***ing dog c****!' the Mr Filter driver said, prompting the red ute driver to say 'I did not'.

'F***ing learn how to use your car if you want to live like a f***ing idiot,' the road rage driver continued.

'You going to hit me?' the red ute driver said before the Mr Filter driver said: 'Why would I hit you you f***ing f****t?'

The video began with the red ute driver entering the roundabout before the Mr Filter car (left) entered the roundabout to his left, cutting him off. The Mr Filter driver was in the wrong since he must give way to vehicles already in the roundabout and vehicles to the right - as outlined by NSW RMS

The Mr Filter driver then took a photo of the red ute's number plate, saying: 'I've got you on dash cam, I've got f***ing everything for you.'

By this point, 10 cars had overtaken the pair as they continued to argue in the middle of the road.

'You almost caused an accident,' the red ute driver said, prompting the Mr Filter driver to say: 'You almost cause an accident and I got it on dash cam you dumb f***.'

The Mr Filter driver then said: 'I want to call the police, so I can get you arrested.'

'Pull over, we'll call the police. I'll wait,' the red ute driver said, before the pair finally pulled over to let traffic pass and the video cut off.

The company fired their employee over the incident after the Facebook video was brought to their attention.

'The matter has now been looked into thoroughly, and this person has been dismissed from the company,' a company statement read.

'The company was unaware of the incident that occurred at that time, until yesterday.

'We are a family business and will not tolerate any form of disrespect to our customers and the general public.

'Our company encourages Safe Driving and respect to all Road Users at all times.

'We apologise for any issues or concerns this incident may have caused.'

Daily Mail Australia has contacted NSW Police for comment.
