People share hilarious signs they came across, from murderous bumper stickers to punny wifi-password

People from around the world have shared snaps of the hilarious signs they have come across. 

Social media users, largely from the UK and US, spotted the witty posts in cafes, offices and on the side of the road. 

The pictures, collated in a gallery by Diply, include a snap of a jar of dead batteries with sign reading 'free of charge.'

In another picture, a sign written by a cat owner features a picture of the feline with the world 'don't believe his lies', asking people not to feed him.
