Plympton is a quiet suburb of Plymouth and is famous for having the remains of an 11th century motte-and-bailey castle.
It was an important trading centre for locally mined tin and previously was a seaport, until its river, the River Plym became increasingly silted.
The port then moved six miles down the river to Plymouth.
