A helicopter carrying three people has crashed northeast of San Francisco.
The Bell 206 chopper went down in fields outside Fairfield around 1.30pm Tuesday.
The aircraft reportedly hit a power line as it fell from the sky before it burst into flames. Smoke was seen billowing from the crash site.
KCRA Sacramento reports that 38,000 PG&E customers in surrounding areas are currently affected by power outages.

The Federal Aviation Authority and thee National Transportation Safety Board confirmed the incident Tuesday afternoon and are now conducting an investigation.
They did not provide any details about the passengers.
It is not believed the helicopter was covering or patrolling any George Floyd protests that are currently underway in surrounding areas.
