Frasier: As the sitcom returns, we reveal where the cast are now

The beloved sitcom Frasier is set to return for a revival after 17 years, with Kelsey Grammer starring in the leading role.

But fans were left eagerly waiting for more details on who will star in the series - and whether any of the original cast will feature.

On Wednesday, streaming service Paramount+ announced the show will be part of its new lineup and that Grammer, 66, will reprise his role as Dr Frasier Crane.

ViacomCBS unveiled new Paramount+ programming Wednesday ahead of its rebranding next week from CBS All Access.

While some fans are excited by the revival, many were left perplexed after it was not made clear whether other members of the original cast, such as David Hindle Piers who played Frasier's brother Niles, will be back for the revival.

Other beloved stars including Jane Leeves, who played Daphne, and Peri Gilpin, who played radio producer Roz, are also not currently attached to the revival. John Mahoney, who played Frasier and Niles's father Martin Crane, died from throat cancer in 2018.

The beloved TV series ran for 11 seasons from 1993 to 2004 and is one of the most garlanded TV comedies of all-tie.

So what have the original cast been doing for the last 17 years since the show went off-air? Here, we reveal their varied fates and fortunes....
