The Everglades National Park is under lockdown over reports of an 'active shooter'.
Florida police are searching for a long-haired white man, 33, after gunshots were reported on Sunday evening.
There are no reports of injuries or fatalities.
Everglades National Park closed just after 8pm and warned people nearby to 'shelter in place' as police hunt for the gunman.
'Active shooter incident happening at Everglades NP,' Everglades National Park shared on Twitter.
'Main park road (SR 9336) closed for public safety. Visitors/residents in Flamingo should shelter in place.'
