First look at Ophelia Lovibond as pregnant Carrie Symonds in drama about Boris Johnson

Her coat covering her bump, this is the first look at Ophelia Lovibond as the pregnant Carrie Symonds in a five-part drama about Boris Johnson’s handling of the coronavirus crisis.

Sir Kenneth Branagh plays the Prime Minister in Sky series This Sceptred Isle. Other scenes include one where Mr Johnson celebrates the 2020 Chinese New Year.

Weeks later he ended up in intensive care with Covid, just before his fiancee gave birth to their son Wilfred.

Sky says it relied on first-hand testimony to recreate events faithfully, but at least one tall tale got through – Shri Patel, who is 6ft 1in, plays Chancellor Rishi Sunak, who is only 5ft 6in.
