Connecticut State Police are searching a property that was owned by Fotis Dulos in the ongoing search for his missing ex-wife's remains, a year after he killed himself while awaiting trial for her murder.
Jennifer Dulos vanished in May 2019 in New Canaan, Connecticut. Her husband was later charged with her murder but denied it vehemently.
The pair were in the midst of a bitter custody battle at the time and Fotis was accused of plotting against Jennifer with the help of his then-girlfriend, Michelle Troconis.
In January 2020, Fotis was found unresponsive at his home after gassing himself in his car. He died in the hospital days later.

Jennifer's body has never been found and now Troconis and Fotis' lawyer and friend, Kent Mawhinney, are the only people left to face accusations over what happened to her.
On Tuesday, police were seen digging holes in the expansive grounds of 80 Mountain Spring Road, another mansion that was owned by Dulos and his construction company.
It's unclear what prompted them to search the property again on Wednesday.
The house was searched in 2019 but now they say they are 'following up on old leads' again.
Cell phone records show that Dulos visited the property twice on the day Jennifer vanished.
Once was at 1.37pm. He then went home, to his nearby property at 4 Jefferson Crossing, then returned to the house on Mountain Spring Road at 5.21pm.
He stayed for 13 minutes then drove away again.
He never publicly explained what he was doing at the home on the day in question.
Fotis was also in the middle of a civil court battle with Jennifer's family when he died.
They say he owed them millions in unpaid loans.
The family had helped him with his construction business when they were first married under an agreement that he would pay back what he borrowed when they were successful.
He was fighting Jennifer's mother in court. Her father died in 2010.
Dulos girlfriend, Michelle Troconis, who he was living with at the time, and his attorney and friend, Kent Mawhinney, are still facing conspiracy to commit murder
