BRITS 2021 Worst-dressed: Mabel, Griff, Jessie Ware and DJ Semtex wear wacky clothes on red carpet

The BRIT awards have a long history of bold looks, wild stunts and shocking events, from key moments in fashion history such as Geri Hailwell's famous Union flag dress in 1997 to Madonna's unscheduled trip down the stairs in 2015.

But one thing that's always sure to court the public's attention is the fashion, with some of the guest this year showing off some very wild and wacky gowns.

Singer Mabel, 25,  lead the brash looks in a neon green gown. The silk cut-out Tony Ward Couture number was adorned with diamond detailing and a racy thigh-high slit. She added matching long-sleeved gloves and barely-there heels.

Mabel styled her curly blonde locks into a sweptback hairdo, she added a slick of make-up and dazzling diamond earrings as she arrived at the London's O2 arena.

Elsewhere, Rising Star nominee Griff sported an Alien-inspired look with a full-length sheer dress, ankle socks, blue patent shoes and a very bold head dress.

Pregnant Jessie Ware, who is nominated for two awards, looked positively vampish as she displayed her growing baby bump in a black sheer chiffon dress.

The billowing dress was teamed with a black lace cape and leather gloves, which she paired with a nineties inspired chiffon scarf.
