The Honor 70 was officially announced on May 30, 2022, and released on June 2, 2022. The 5G-ready smartphone is offered in four colors – Black, Green, Blue, and Silver. It is powered by a 4800 mAh Li-Ion battery (non-removable) + fast charging 66W + reverse charging 5W.
Body & Display:
The smartphone comes in a 6.67 inches screen size and the display is OLED capacitive touchscreen that provides 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. It measures 161.4 x 73.3 x 7.9 mm and weighs 178 grams.
Platform:
The device is powered by the Qualcomm SM7325-AE Snapdragon 778G+ 5G (6 nm) Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Adreno 642L. It runs on the Android 12 + Magic UI 6.1 operating system. However, the phone doesn’t come with the Play Store or other Google apps like Calendar, Maps, or Gmail.
The smartphone comes in variants such as 256GB + 8GB RAM, 256GB + 12GB RAM, and 512GB + 12GB RAM.
Main Camera:
The rear camera of the Honor 70 consists of a 54-megapixel (wide) + 50-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (depth). It features Dual-LED flash, HDR, and panorama.
Selfie Camera:
The smartphone has a tiny punch-hole screen that houses a 32-megapixel (wide) camera. It also features HDR.
Connectivity options on the device include GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0, USB On-The-Go (OTG). Its sensors include fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
