Diego Loyzaga is a “loyalist”
Actor Diego Loyzaga shared his reaction to being chosen to portray President-elect Bongbong Marcos in Darryl Yap’s Maid in Malacanang movie.
The controversial director has started revealing the cast members of the movie that he pitched to Viva Films about the last 72 hours of the Marcoses in the Palace. Direk Darryl first introduced the actress who will portray the matriarch of the prominent political clan.
Ruffa Gutierrez will give life to Imelda Marcos’s persona on screen. Following this, it was revealed that award-winning actor Cesar Montano will portray former President Ferdinand Marcos while his son Diego Loyzaga will be incoming President Bongbong Marcos.
During the Independence Day celebration of the camp of BBM, Diego was one of the UniTeam supporters who attended the event. The actor shared photos taken during the celebration on his social media accounts.
He also shared a video showing that he gave a speech. Diego said that he has been looking forward to having the opportunity to show his support for the Marcos family and he was able to do that.
Now, he also has the chance to portray BBM in the movie and this makes him ecstatic. “Salamat sa Diyos binigyan Niya ako ng oportunidad na gampanan si Presidente Bongbong Marcos sa isang role, sa isang pelikula. So, I’m happy, I’m thankful to be part of this family. Tawagin niyo na rin po akong loyalist po,” the actor said.
Meanwhile, just recently, Direk Darryl Yap revealed other cast members for the movie. He shared a photo showing that Queen Mother Karla Estrada will play the role of Yaya Santa, veteran actress Elizabeth Oropesa will be Manang Lucy while seasoned comedienne Beverly Salviejo will portray Biday.
