Car Driver Applies US Traffic Policy in PH & Nearly Causes Accident
A car driver applied the US traffic policy in the Philippines and nearly caused an accident along the road.
Nowadays, road accident has been one of the major traffic problems in different countries all around the world including the Philippines. It usually causes traffic congestions or injuries to involved individuals. Reckless motorists are mostly involved in vehicular accidents.
The traffic authorities are implementing stricter rules and regulations to prevent such incidents but accidents still happen due to reckless motorists.
The Facebook page “VISOR” has shared the video footage of a car driver who nearly caused an accident by applying US traffic policy in the Philippines. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that the driver is slowly driving along the road until they reached a road intersection. The guy counterflowed on the opposite lane to overtake the vehicles ahead of him.
The driver loudly blew his horn after the tricycle in the opposite lane tried to pass. The latter even criticized the trike driver saying “Green oh”. However, it was clear that he commit a traffic violation.
The video sender narrated that he had just come from the US and applied the foreign traffic policy on the Philippine road. He allegedly tried to use “Left Turn Pocket”, which reportedly allows his action.
