The rumored pregnancy of AJ Raval was brought up again
Actress AJ Raval is rumored to be pregnant and director Jules Katanyag, who directed her movie Us X Her, was asked about this issue.
Rumor has it that AJ left the lock-in shooting because she allegedly found out that she was pregnant. It was said that she was supposed to have two days of shooting and the production took a halt because she already left.
However, the actress clarified that the reason why she left the movie set was that she tested positive for COVID-19. On the other hand, the pregnancy rumors continued to surface. Amid this issue, AJ has been sharing photos showing her flat tummy.
During the Cinemalaya 2022 Awards Night at the Cultural Center of the Philippines last August 14, based on the article in PEP, Direk Jules Katanyag was asked about the rumors that AJ Raval is pregnant and the reports that stated she suffered from the coronavirus.
The director said that they were already going to the location of their shoot when he learned that AJ was not feeling well. “Pagdating namin dun, sinabi na tinakbo daw siya sa hospital. So, na-pack up yung shoot namin. Nasa hospital siya… yun,” he said, adding that the actress tested positive for COVID-19.
Direk Jules shared that the shoot was postponed because of that. He also said that people in the production also took the test to make sure that they were not infected. The director shared that AJ messaged him and apologized for the delay that she caused.
Direk Jules said that it appeared that AJ’s hectic schedule compromised her immune system. Right after her movie Sitio Diablo, the actress immediately proceeded to do this movie by Direk Jules.
When asked about the pregnancy rumors involving AJ Raval, the movie director said that they haven’t talked about it on the set. He said that he can say that the actress has a fit figure which is an advantage for her scenes in the movie. “Parang hindi naman buntis,” he said.
