Your lockdown DIY project could get you on the telly next week – here’s how

WILL you be relying on DIY to keep you busy under coronavirus lockdown this weekend?

Well your latest project could land you on TV - as the BBC's keen to see how you got on.

Reaching out on Facebook this week, producers said: "Taking on a DIY project this weekend? The One Show would love to hear from you!

"From your masterpieces, to your epic fails they want to include all the highs and lows on BBC One!

"If you are happy to film yourself to be shown on the show - please email [email protected] to find out more..."

Hosted by Alex Jones and Matt Baker, The One Show is on BBC1 every weeknight from 7pm.

Matt is stepping down from the chat show after nine years and is due to film his last programme on Tuesday.

The long-standing co-host has been filming from home after self-isolating over COVID-19 fears, meaning he's unlikely to be in the studio for his last show.

We previously revealed how DIY fans can use the coronavirus lockdown to transform their homes on the cheap.
