On Wednesday,Rishi Sunak appeared to change its policy on onshore wind farms, pushing rivals Tory Leadership Race Liz Truss complains about his indecision. Tonight, the former prime minister said he would consider building a new onshore wind farm. ``Bold enough to lift the embargo on onshore wind power''.

A Tory leader candidate replied: I have already said that he is aiming for what he can do together with the local community.

"We know that's going to be difficult, but in practice we might be able to make it work with different economic incentives."

This It's a change from weeks ago when the potential leader said he would continue to ban the construction of onshore wind farms.

Speaking to The Telegraph about wind energy policy,

he said, "As Prime Minister, I will scrap plans to ease the UK's onshore wind ban and instead build more turbines offshore." We want to reassure our communities that we will focus on what we do."

Wind turbines can be subject to schism in rural England because they are thought to create a lot of noise and detract from the beauty of the area.

} Wind turbines built offshore are more reliable than those built on land, but are more expensive to maintain.

The Liz Truss campaign accuses Sunak of making his U-turn on policy.

A source close to Mr Truss said:

"He's already made a U-turn in tax cuts, grammar school, and China, and tonight I saw him doing the same at an onshore wind farm.

"At the start of the campaign he portrayed himself as Mr Consistant, but then we saw shopping carts desperately chasing votes. How could the British people trust that?

Mr. Sunak's policy on wind power came on the same day former Health Secretary Sajid Javid nominated Mr Truss for party leader.

Javid became his fourth former Conservative Party leader candidate to back Truss last week, after Penny Mordaunt, Nadim Zahawy and Tom Tugendhat.

A recent poll of Tory voters also found Mr Truss ahead of Mr Sunak by 32 points in the race for the lead, making Wednesday an eventful day for the two Tory leaders. It was a full day.

On Thursday, August 4, at 8:00 pm, he will have a televised debate between Mr. Sunak and his Mr. Truss on Sky News.

He has only a month left before Conservative MPs vote for a new leader and the next Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

Voters began receiving their ballots this week, but the newly elected leader will be announced on September 5th.
