Former X factor star Emma Chawner revealed she’s shed an incredible 13 stone on Lorraine today.
Emma, who appeared on th e reality show in 2007 when she was 17-years-old, said it took three years to drop from 28.5 stone to 15.5 stone.
She said: "I’ve done it all myself, no one’s pushed me to do it.
"I wasn’t healthy, I was always out of breath. [My] asthma was getting worse, I was diabetic as well.”
Emma, who also starred in the programme Big Fat Challenge which Lorraine hosted in 2009, revealed she’s ditched carbs and upped her exercise.
She said: “I’ve cut out potatoes, pasta, rice and changed it to veg… and I’ve changed portion sizes.
"I walk about six miles on the weekend with the kids.
But she revealed she hasn’t completed her weight loss goal yet, she said: “I’ve still got a bit to go, I want to get down to 12 stone."
Talking about her experience on the X Factor, Emma admitted: “I had good and bad from that show. The good thing is we did a show with you, lost weight, but then I had death threats and bullying online.”
Lorraine asked how she dealt with it and Emma said: ”I talked to family and friends and ignored them, I just blocked them. I still get negatives, people saying ‘You’ve had a gastric band.’ And I haven’t.”
