A WOMAN who racially abused bouncers in a vile rant when they threw her out of a bar has moaned that they shouldn't have filmed it after she received death threats.
Tia Simmonds, 21, has revealed to The Sun Online she is the reveller seen launching a foul-mouthed tirade at staff in a video that went viral.
But the waitress claims she didn’t say anything racist despite “getting a bit worked up.”
Tia appears to call one security man a "f***ing P**" during the shocking showdown in Birmingham city centre on Thursday night.
Footage shows her trying to cover her face when she realises she is being filmed but insists she doesn't care if it goes viral.
But after the video went viral Tia changed her mind - and slammed the people who filmed the rant and said it's "unfair" that she is being targeted online.
Speaking out after the ordeal, Tia from Leicester said: “I am sorry for what people think I said. I apologise if people feel I have offended anyone.
She insisted: “I’m not racist. I’m quarter black so how can I be?”
Tia said she had not been quizzed by police over the alleged racist slur but had heard officers had been speaking to her former boss at a pub in Mountsorrel, Leicestershire.
She complained that the footage has sparked a wave of abuse against her - saying: “Random people want me dead."
Tia said: “They’re saying “Go kill yourself.’ I’ve had death threats with other saying ‘Next time I see you I’m going to stamp you out!’ "
In a U-turn on her response to the footage going viral, she said: “It’s not fair it’s all over Instagram and TikTok. The video went viral and I’m getting loads of abuse. I don't deserve that. It’s so unfair."
Tia told how she and a female pal had got thrown out of a bar but she couldn't remember which one.
She said: “I’d gone out with a friend to Birmingham. My mate was really drunk and we got dragged out of the place which we’d been to before but don’t even know the name. I’m not sure why, I've no clue but maybe because she was drunk.
“It had just been me and my friend on the dance floor. The bouncer picked us up and chucked us out.
“I'd had a few drinks but I wasn’t drunk like my mate. We’d just gone out to have a good time.
“Police haven’t contacted me about it but I got a message to say they had been to my old work place because of all the negative posts.
“I think the pub where I used to work as waitress and bar staff is getting abuse because it’s tagged in on my Facebook profile."
Tia’s mum Cheryl Finch, who has viewed the video said: “I’m not proud of what she’s done. She was out of order."
She said: “I’ve heard all about it, I've seen it and I’m not proud of what she has done. But it is out of character and she’s now getting death threats.”
Cheryl, speaking from her home in Sileby, Leics, told how she now feared for her daughter's safety.
She said: “I’m really worried about her, there's been so much hate against her from complete strangers since the video.
“I’ve seen it but you can't make out exactly what she says. She was having a go at them but you can’t be 100% sure of what he said.
“I’m very upset about it all. It sounded like someone was goading her and filming her. It’s not an excuse for what she said but it was definitely out of character.
Cheryl insisted: “My daughter’s no racist. She is quarter black, her dad is Caribbean. The majority of her friends are black and Asian.”
She added: “Tia's suffering from anxiety and depression, she's off work because of it, and all this is not doing her any good."
The offensive video is believed to have been filmed outside Levana cocktail bar.
The woman is seen yelling at door staff and asking why she has been ejected.
Waving her arms wildly, she moans she was only "doing my own ting".
And she screams: "You're a f***ing p***, bruv. You're crackheads."
The woman then holds both her hands up in an effort to cover face when she sees another man near the bouncer is filming.
He says: "Carry on. You're going viral, love."
But she hits back: "I don't care" as the furious rant continues."
