A woman who missed a punch machine and face-planted the floor has assured her friends she still has her teeth lift after a video surfaced of the moment.
Lucy Van-Hee, 21, decided to take on the punch machine in a Newcastle takeaway on Sunday night.
But her embarrassing effort left her with a red face and a bloody mouth after she fell over and split her lip on the floor.
The clip was captured by Elliott McNab who posted the footage on Monday night with the caption: “Some punch for a girl.”
In it, Lucy is seen throwing herself at the punchbag while barefooted.
But the unsteady girl misses her foot placing and slips over.
The girl falls to the floor in a heap appearing to have slid down the side of the machine and the nearby window.
Elliott rushes forward to pick her up but as she turns around blood can be seen over her teeth which gives the impression they have been knocked out.
Her friends can be heard in the background laughing.
Since being uploaded to Twitter, many have shown some concern for Lucy.
One person said: "That looks painful, has her front teeth come out?"
Another added: "Omg her teeth are gone, noooo."
While a third commented: "On one hand I think it’s super disrespectful to laugh at someone who just got hurt and lost a tooth.
"On the other hand it was so pathetic that I can’t help but to feel negative sympathy."
“Many a folk have been a victim of that machine over the years," a fourth claimed.
But Lucy has since responded, saying: “I can assure everyone that all my teeth are still definitely there, it’s just the blood that’s making them look missing."
"They’re surprisingly okay, thank God.
"I just burst my lip. It literally looks like they’ve fallen out on the video."
