When you move into a house, there's always a chance you'll inherit a few things from the previous owners that were left behind in the process.

But one woman was left creeped out when the wooden panelling in her kitchen fell away to expose items stashed under the oven which include a metal briefcase.

TikTok user @Live_ex_dream said: "I'll just be googling unsolved murders in my local area now" as she posted a video of the findings and racked up more than 600,000 views.

Showing two wooden slats which sit under the oven lying on the floor, she explains: "So a wooden panel underneath the oven dropped out and left a gap. I could see something inside."

She then lifts up a handle to reveal a metal briefcase and opened it to find an unidentified pink, metal bar inside.

But she then looked into the gap left behind to find an assortment of metal items including a knife and a long fork with two sharp prongs, which some viewers compared to a 'murder' kit.

In a follow up video, she puts on a pair of gloves and lays everything out on a plastic sheet and others took to the comments in a bid to reassure her that it looked to be a grill set removed from its case.

It didn't solve the mystery, however, as she responded to say: "Yeah but why's it all been taken out of the case and replaced with one metal bar and then sealed behind wooden panels?"

Another said: "It's not uncommon for those areas under ovens to be used as drawers, might have just been sealed up and forgotten."

But not everyone was convinced, as one said: "Please say you called the police???"

A second wrote: "Everything in me is screaming murder weapons."

And another added: "Umm maybe torture devices for a serial killer."

After many others also suggested reporting the find to the police, she replied: "We called the non-emergency line and they said the previous owners weren't connected to anything that could make it dodgy so they're not interested."
