A MURDER investigation has been launched after a 38-year-old woman was found dead with serious neck injuries.
Officers discovered the body at a flat in Solihull, West Midlands, at around 3.20pm on Sunday.
A man, 37, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
He remains in police custody being quizzed by detectives while the woman’s family are being supported by specialist officers.
Detective Inspector Nick Barnes, from West Midlands Police CID, said: “A woman has sadly lost her life so we’re doing all we can to establish what happened to her.
“Our investigations are continuing and I’d urge anyone who may have any information to contact us as soon as possible.”
