Wolves 2 Crystal Palace 0: Ait-Nouri scores on debut as Podence adds second to continue best top-flight start since 1979

WOLVES continued their best start to a top-flight season since 1979 as they eased to a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace.

Teenage debutant Rayan Ait-Nouri capped a dream night with the opener just 18 minutes into the clash.

Portuguese winger Castelo Podence then doubled the advantage just moments later to put Wolves out of sight.

And things got even worse for Roy Hodgson’s Eagles during the closing stages.

Crystal Palace captain Luka Milivojevic was given his marching orders after a VAR check for a dangerous sliding tackle on Joao Moutinho.
