It's a show that has been praised by fans and critics alike.
New Netflix series Unbelievable tackles the horrific true story of teen Marie Adler (played by Booksmart star Kaitlyn Dever) who goes to the police after she was bound and raped for hours in her home.
However, Marie soon finds that the police and her closest loved ones don't believe what happened to her.
We then begin to follow the investigations of Detective Rasmussen ( Toni Collette ) and Detective Duvall ( Merritt Wever ) as they attempt to find a prolific serial rapist of women.
Based on a Pulitzer Prize-winning report of a real case, written by T. Christian Miller and Ken Armstrong, entitled An Unbelievable Story of Rape, Unbelievable is sadly all too believable in its examination of how victims of sexual violence are treated in the modern world.
But will Unbelievable return for season 2?
Will there be an Unbelievable season 2 on Netflix?
Netflix has confirmed that there will not be a second season of Unbelievable on the streaming giant.
Speaking to Women's Health, a Netflix rep confirmed: "It’s a limited series and based on the true story, alas, we won’t have another season."
