Wiley has confirmed he and music rival Stormzy have ended their bitter feud.

The grime star, 41, and rapper, 26, began beefing back in 2019 when the fierce spat broke out over "golden boy" Ed Sheeran.

The pair seemed to air their dirty laundry for all to see, as the row eventually escalated onto Twitter - but Wiley has insisted it's all "over" now.

The Heatwave singer, real name Richard Kylea Cowie Jr, told the Guardian : "We're over it now. I've spoken to Stormzy, I've got love for him."

But Wiley didn't hold back from making a dig at Ed, 26, as he added: "I just wish he hadn't jumped in the way to defend Ed - that's the only reason it happened.

Wiley has confirmed their spat is over

"Ed Sheeran, England's golden boy – he can use you, but you're not allowed to use him."

Their feud began when Wiley ripped into Stormzy's track Take Me Back To London, featuring Ed - which was released last year.

Wiley then claimed Ed was only interested in grime artists because of Stormzy - whose real name is Michael Owuo Jr.

He hit out at the Galway Girl singer, saying: "You haven't given a s**t about us, since the time you started, until Stormzy came along. I don't like the way that grime gets used."

However Stormzy defended his pal, hitting back at Wiley with: "Ed's the kindest, nicest soul ever. He's just trying to travel the world and he's probably getting notifications. But I said, 'Don’t worry, I’ll do all the trolling'."

Stormzy and Wiley have been going at each other for months

Later in December, Stormzy released his second studio album Heavy Is The Head, and many fans saw his song Wiley Flow as a diss towards the grime artist.

On New Year's Day, Wiley kick-started the feud by launching another attack on Ed and Stormzy, but once again the rapper had defended his good friend.

Their war of words eventually made it to becoming a grime song, when Wiley dropped his diss track, Eediyat Skengman 1.

Wiley and Stormzy released diss tracks

The star brutally accuses Stormzy of not caring about grime in the track that thrilled and shocked his fans.

However Stormzy added fuel to the fire as he replied back with a tune called Disappointed, where he mocked Wiley for being an "old man" and said he had a "death wish" for insulting him.

And it didn't stop there as Wiley continued to escalate their fallout by saying he'd attack Stormzy's mum.

They are on good terms now

His follow-up track Eediyat Skengman 2 references Abigail, with Wiley rapping: "If I see your mum at Croydon market, I'm going to rip that weave off her head."

The jibe shocked fans, with some praising him for it as he shared on Twitter that Stormzy was worse than a grass.

Stormzy fiercely hit back at his rival with freestyle Still Disappointed, and he used rapper Kano's Mic Check beat for his track.

The artists had settled their beef

His words claimed Wiley's mum is "banged up abroad" in Cyprus after her son got into trouble.

Stormzy shockingly went on to call his mother a "w***e", as well as calling Wiley's sister a "little b***h" and his dad a snitch.

"I'm a real G and your dad's a witness, boyed your bro and your sister begged it, I told that little b***h don't ask for pictures," raps the star.

Wiley apologised to Stormzy in his personal messages

He finished off the diss with: "You f**k boy, let me know how you wanna die. 24 hours to reply."

In February, Stormzy reignited their feud after a short silence.

He shared a screenshot of a message from Wiley as he appeared to apologise to him over his personal messages.

The pair started feuding in 2019

Stormzy wrote: "Wiley's a p**ck coz he love talk s**t then he sobers up and the begs it"

"Is this you lot's Godfather?!?! you f**king pathetic loser lmao @WileyUK about you hate yourself for this, is this your king?!? #iHateMyself #Loser #IamSorry #IwishThisDidntHappen #ThisManIs41 [sic]."

But Wiley insisted his apology was in reference to attacking his rival's mother.

He replied: "I got this whole convo between me and mike ya kno don’t let him trick u into thinking I’m a punk Cos I just felt bad about his mums weave that’s all #JahKno.

"I tried to be respectful that’s all Cos man terrorised ur mum that’s why. [sic]"
