A total of four members will not be returning for its 48th season.
Who is leaving the Saturday Night Live cast?

Pete Davidson
Back in 2014, Pete Davidson, 28, became the first person born in the 1990s to join the cast of SNL.
On Saturday, May 21, 2022, Davidson confirmed he would be leaving SNL.
During his last segment on SNL's Weekend Update, he stated: "I never imagined this would be my life. Back then, I was just a skinny kid that no one knew which race I was."
He continued: "And now everyone knows I'm White because I became hugely successful while barely showing up to work. Look at me now, I'm aging like an old banana."
Kate McKinnon
In April of 2012, Kate McKinnon, 38, joined SNL for their 38th season.
In 2016 and 2017, she won two Emmy awards Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on the show.
During her last performance as the recurring character, Mrs. Rafferty, she said: “Earth, I love you, thanks for letting me stay awhile” and then proceeded to deliver her last tagline on the show following a 10-year run: “live from New York it’s Saturday night.”
Aidy Bryant
Aidy Bryant, 35, joined SNL along with McKinnon on Season 38.
At the end of one of the segments, Michael Che and Bowen Yang presented Bryant with a bouquet of roses and gave her a kiss goodbye on the cheek.
Kyle Mooney
Kyle Mooney, 37, joined SNL back in 2013.
He also co-starred as Rory on the HBO comedy series Hello Ladies and starred in a 2017 film he co-wrote, Brigsby Bear.
Who is replacing the departing four?
SNL has yet to announce replacements for Season 47th's departing four.
Last season, Beck Bennett and Lauren Holt both left.
They were replaced by Chloe Fineman and Bowen Yang were also both promoted to regular cast members amid the announcement.
