FOX’s 911 Lone Star is one of the network’s most popular drama series.

Fans are currently awaiting news on when season three will air, as they are unsure if it will be renewed or canceled.

Who is Charles on 911 Lone Star?

Charles Vega on 911 Lone Star is the husband of Paramedic Captain Tommy Vega, portrayed by Gina Torres.

Vega is played by Derek Webster, and his character is a restaurateur whose business is affected by the coronavirus pandemic. 

He decides to become a stay at home father while Captain Vega heads to work in the midst of the pandemic.

Vega’s character was introduced in season two of the series.

According to Torres, Vega was “nervous” about their on-camera love scenes.

She dished to Refinery29 about comforting Vega regarding the scenes, saying: “We’re talking, and he admitted to being a little nervous about the love scenes that we had. 

“I’m like, ‘Oh it’s fine. We’re just doin’ a little kissin’. We’ll be great,’” 

Adding: “He said, ‘I’ve never done this. In all my years as an actor, I’ve never played anybody who is intimate with anyone on screen.”

Webster is known for his role on NCIS: New Orleans as Raymond Isler.

He has also starred in The Newsroom, Ray Donovan, and Minority Report.

What is 911 Lone Star?

911 Lone Star focuses on the fire, police, and ambulance departments of the fictional company 126, located in Austin, Texas.

It is a spin-off of the television series 911, which also airs on Fox.

The story follows a New York firefighter and his son who relocate from New York City to Austin and adjust to a new life together.

They must find balance in their daily lives and at work as they deal with complexities and problems.

When does 911 Lone Star air?

911 Lone Star airs Mondays at 9pm on Fox.

The show can be streamed on Fox’s website with a paid subscription.

It is also available on Hulu and YouTube TV with a subscription as well.

Season two of 911 Lone Star ended on Monday, May 10, 2021, and the future of the series is still to be determined.

Actress Liv Tyler quit the series in September of 2020 over fears of flying in an airplane during the coronavirus pandemic.

She starred  alongside Rob Lowe, playing the role of paramedic Michelle Blake in the show's first season.
