Roaring through London's St Pancras Grand Hotel to pile onto a vintage London double decker bus, the video for Wannabe - celebrating its 25th anniversary - is the stuff of pop music legend.

Loud-mouthed and outrageously dressed, the five Spice Girls earmarked a new 1990s era of feminism.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the legendary single, the Spice Girls have announced they're releasing an anniversary EP with one previously unheard track, Feed Your Love

The four-track EP also features the original Wannabe demo, plus the track's popular radio edit, and a remix by US DJ Junior Vasquez.

It's available to stream from July 9 and to purchase on vinyl and cassette (!) from July 23.

25 years on, where are the Spice Girls today?

Victoria Beckham

VB needs little introduction: the head of a widely-acclaimed fashion house in her own name, these days Victoria is easily the most high profile of the Spice Girls.

Her celebrity profile alongside husband David Beckham is one of the most consistent in Britain. Alongside the likes of Kylie Minogue, she is one of only a handful of celebs still as popular today as they were back then.

She is known for not giving many interviews. When she does, she plays up to her trademark image with a pout, rarely breaking into a smile.

She has four children with David, the oldest of which is Brooklyn Beckham, who is 22 and now engaged to American actor Nicola Peltz.

Victoria reunited with the four other girls for the Olympics Opening Ceremony in 2012, but was the only member not to go out on tour in 2019 when the band reunited.

Geri Horner

Geri Horner, known during her Spice Girls days as Geri Halliwell, left the band in 1998 in a shock exit which threw up questions about the group's future.

Reflecting on her decision to leave in the documentary Giving You Everything, she said: "I felt I didn't belong any more. They didn't need me any more, really, and I definitely felt very redundant."

During her days with the Spice Girls, she was known as Ginger Spice, and was the cheeky one, once famously boasting about patting Prince Charles' bum at a public event.

After she left the band, Geri released a couple of singles, including Look At Me and It's Raining Men, around the turn of the millennium and into the early 2000s.

She had relative success with her solo career, particularly 2001's It's Raining Men, which went in at number 1 in the UK charts.

In 2007 she returned for the group's' reunion tour, and around the same time, released a series of children's books with a central character based on a younger version of herself.

Around the 2012-2013 era Geri appeared on a number of reality show formats, including Australia's Got Talent and The X Factor.

In 2019 Geri toured again with the Spice Girls on a World Tour, this time without Victoria.

Geri married Christian Horner, a racing driver, in 2015 and the couple have two children together. The Spice Girl also has one daughter from a previous relationship.

Away from music and her personal life, the singer has become embroiled in politics on a number of occasions. She has supported both the Conservative and Labour party and in 2007 made headlines for comments made on feminism which seemed at odds with the Spice Girls aesthetic.

"Feminism is bra-burning lesbianism," she told The Guardian. "It's very unglamorous...we need to see a celebration of our femininity and softness."

Emma Bunton

Baby Spice, aka Emma Bunton, has been committed to the Spice Girls cause throughout the band's 25-year history and hasn't missed any reunions.

As well as releasing a number of successful solo singles, including 2001's number 1 hit What Took You So Long?, Emma became the face of Heart FM's Breakfast Show alongside Jamie Theakston from 2012 until 2018.

She still presents a Sunday night show on Heart, and is a hit with listeners, winning Radio Presenter of the Year and the Digital Radio Programme award at the annual TRIC Awards in 2017.

In 2007, Emma had her first child with her partner Jade Jones, a singer from the band Damage, and the couple had another child in 2011. Her and Jade have been dating since 1998, on and off.

Melanie Brown

Mel B also stuck with the band throughout their 25-year history together, and was involved in the most recent reunion tour in 2019.

During the 2000s, Mel, who was known as 'Mel B' or 'Scary Spice' in the band, had a number of successful solo singles, including I Want You Back, which charted at number 1 in the UK.

Alongside her solo music career, in 2007 Mel first began working as a talent show judge and as a contestant on various reality show formats on TV.

She has been a judge on the Australian and British versions of The X Factor, and co-presented the Australian version of Dancing With The Stars.

As a contestant, she appeared on the US version of Dancing With The Stars, and recently on the UK's The Masked Singer.

She has three children and lives in Los Angeles, and at one point famously dated the actor Eddie Murphy. She is currently dating a hairdresser called Rory McPhee, and has reportedly been in that relationship for the past two years.

Melanie Chisholm

Mel C, aka 'Sporty Spice,' has been committed to the Spice Girls cause throughout the most part of the last 25 years, although her and Victoria both opted out of being involved in a reunion that was discussed in 2016.

The reunion, which would have just featured Mel B, Emma and Geri, was shelved in the end when Geri fell pregnant - but in the end, Mel C did end up joining when the girls went back on the road in 2019.

Away from the group, Mel C has consistently been releasing her own solo music right up until this year.

She was always known as the strongest singer in the group, and still takes music very seriously, choosing to play intimate live gigs to smaller crowds of fans than going down the reality TV show route.

Across her solo career she has sold a huge 23 million solo albums, and has released eight studio albums, the most recent of which in 2020.

Two of her solo singles, I Turn To You and Never Be the Same Again, charted at number 1 in the UK singles chart.

Mel has one child, a daughter named Scarlet, who she gave birth to in 2009. She has been with music executive boyfriend Joe Marshall since 2015 and the pair keep a relatively low profile.
